Dear Host, My name is Taras, and I am currently living in Helmond under the Temporary Protection Directive. At the time of my arrival in the Netherlands, it was the only place available to accommodate me. However, all of my friends, my support community, and most importantly – professional opportunities in my field – are based in Rotterdam. I am a qualified Quality Assurance Engineer with over 4.5 years of experience, and unfortunately, such positions are difficult to find outside of larger cities like Rotterdam. In addition to my IT background, I am also a trained chef with more than 10 years of experience. I would be happy to assist around the house and cook professionally for the host family. I am looking for a temporary place to stay in or near Rotterdam that includes registration. I would be willing to contribute a symbolic rent during the first period while I stabilize and search for permanent accommodation and full-time employment.
