Hello​,​ we are interested in finding a sponsor in the United Kingdom. Our names are Anastasia and Vladyslav​,​ we are a couple of 21 (f) and 22 (m) years old​,​ with English proficiency levels of B2-C1 and B1-B2 respectively (not certified). We perceive the language freely by ear and can communicate with native speakers​,​ sometimes with difficulty in formulating sentences​,​ but in general the language barrier is not an obstacle. We are currently staying with friends in Portugal​,​ but our ultimate goal is to relocate to an English-speaking society​,​ assimilate into British culture and seek opportunities for a stable life and development​,​ since our current situation is far from stable. We made our way out of Ukraine quickly​,​ as for the first time in our lives we got the opportunity to legally cross the border and get a chance for a peaceful life without war. The war has had a deep effect on our mental state​,​ so we urgently need to gain a sense of stability and comfort in order to adapt to a new society. Given our situation​,​ we are finding it challenging to organize our move and accommodation in the UK alone​,​ so the support of a sponsor is an important step that would allow us to settle safely​,​ adapt and take our first steps in a new country.
