Dear Sponsor​,​ We are a Ukrainian family of three — my husband​,​ our 14-year-old son​,​ and I. We are honest​,​ responsible people with no bad habits​,​ who value kindness​,​ respect​,​ and hard work. Our dream is simple: to live in peace​,​ to give our son a safe future​,​ and to become part of a community where people care for one another. My name is Olena​,​ and I am a heat-power engineer by education. My husband​,​ Vitalii​,​ is a fire and rescue specialist. In Ukraine​,​ he graduated from university and worked as a rescuer​,​ dedicating his life to helping people in emergency situations. During the last five years​,​ Vitalii has also worked as an international truck driver​,​ and he has visited the United Kingdom many times. He admires the culture​,​ the people​,​ and the order in your country​,​ and it has always felt close to his heart. We both have higher education​,​ a strong work ethic​,​ and great respect for rules and people. Our family has a good level of English​,​ which allows us to communicate comfortably with native speakers. Unfortunately​,​ because of the ongoing war in Ukraine​,​ our hometown is constantly under shelling. Returning home would mean putting our lives and our child’s life in danger. At the moment​,​ we live in the United States under the Ukrainian sponsorship program​,​ but due to recent policy changes​,​ we will soon lose the right to stay here. We would love to continue our lives in the United Kingdom​,​ surrounded by an English-speaking community. Our son is currently in high school and dreams of getting a university education in economics. We are a quiet​,​ responsible family who will respect your home and privacy.
